After leaving a positive review immediately after construction of our deck we realized later when getting a measurement... for a custom pergola to be built on top of the deck that the deck was smaller than we had specified in our contract with NRD. No response. Went to BBB. Contractor was full of excuses first then threatening. Did not deny building smaller though. We did not pursue as not worth the hassle or cost. Stuck with 8.5’ x 9’5”deck that was supposed to be as per contract 10 x 10.read more

Nick was great and I’m super happy with the work done. Nick was professional, responsive and easy to work with. I had... him replace a powder room vanity that was original to the house and very tricky to replace. I also had him add a backsplash for me as the vanity top did not have one included. The floor tile didn’t go under the original vanity so he added a baseboard to hide the gap. He did such a great job that you never know that it wasn’t part of the new vanity. He did a great job at modernizing my powder room. I also had him replace some outdoor light fixtures and caulking in my other bathroom. Everything was done really well and I will definitely have him back.read more

Great experience with Nick. We needed to repair our foundation, from the outside of the house. We reached out to a... dozen specialty companies on foundation repairs and found Nick through a referral. Nick worked a few years for a foundation company and was able to get it all done from start to finish, proposing similar solutions to the bigger companies. The service was top notch, finished within a week and a half, took pictures, and walked us along every step of the way. I'll be refering him and using NRD Construction again.read more

Nick built a fence for us to make our backyard compliant with City Bylaws. The workmanship was excellent, he was... knowledgeable about the bylaws so we're confident the fence will be approved, he kept us in the loop re: how everything was going, and the project was completed quickly and ahead of schedule (he'd originally said he could do it at the beginning of May, but it's still April and it's already done!) He was also great/patient with our kids who wanted to keep saying "Hi" and waving from the windows. He even went "above and beyond" to do a few other things to make the yard bylaw compliant, for which we're very thankful. We'll definitely call him again!read more
